More Kaelin pics...I haven't taken the time to edit any of these yet, but I just thought I would throw some up here for everyone who hasn't seen him yet.

Kaelin Wyman Redd

Okay, so I've been rebuked too many times. I guess I'm just lazy. Put off til tomorrow what you don't want to do today...it's a little adage I live by...I've been promising to post pics and tell about our new little installment in the Redd household for 3 weeks now. So, here goes...

We had been having problems w our online profile. The agency was in the middle of changing over to a new site and it had lots of bugs they were trying to work out. For example, when we tried to change something on our profile, it wouldn't save. It was frustrating. That was just one of the problems we were having. Anyway, I had just decided to take a break from it for awhile as we were moving and I was lazy..er...I mean life was crazy! No, I really did need a break from it. It was discouraging.

So, on the night of September 30th, I suddenly decided to see if I could figure out what the deal w this profile thing...I found an address on our references that had the city, state, and zip on one line. So I fixed that and it worked! All the bugs must have been worked out, cuz it said we were able to go online. So, the next morn I called our caseworker and he posted us online. Later that day, around noon, my sis-in-law, Roxy came over w her kidlets and I went to our profile to show it to her and it wasn't there anymore! I didn't know what was going on. I was so bugged. It was online that morning and now it was gone. What was going on!?!?! !@&^%$#...anyhow... We got a call from our caseworker later that evening and he said a caseworker in SLC had taken our profile offline cuz we were picked! Hijole! In a matter of just a few hours, our birth mom came into the agency, saw or profile, and said, "That's the couple!" She had only seen a few other profiles and she said she just knew right away that we were the right couple to raise her baby! Yeah...pretty incredible! You can't tell me that wasn't anything short of a miracle!

I'm so grateful for my precious boys! I know without a doubt in my heart they were supposed to come to our family! I have been reminded many times of how much the Lord's hand has been in adopting N8 and Kaelin. I don't know what I would ever do without my sweet boys!

I'll have to post the whole adoption experience (and some pics) later. My bootie is getting sore and K is not happy right now. So, this post is to be continued....
